WHO WE ARE

  We are a group of Christian bass fishermen dedicated to serving the Lord as

       “fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19), bringing Christian bass fishermen together in

     fellowship, ministry and service.  As we fellowship and support one another,

     we have the opportunity to enjoy Gods creation, reach out to others and serve

     those in need.

     It is our goal that this organization will be a way to share the Gospel of Jesus

     Christ with fishermen, extending them the call to be, “fishers of men” in all

     aspects of their lives.   We hope to provide an atmosphere that will bring

     further knowledge and growth in the Christian walk, while learning fishing

     skills and sharing them with others.

"A Day To Go Fishing"

     WCCA members volunteer at the Ventura County Rescue Mission (VCRM)

     serving meals. Once a month, we also sponsor and host a “Graduation

     Celebration Fishing Trip” for the men who complete the VCRM 9 month

     Residential Recovery Program.  As part of this event, each of the graduates

     is provided with fishing equipment, that they are allowed to keep.

     The VCRM has a group a men graduating every month. Here are some of the men!

 Membership

     Yes, we are seeking members! We have a “Regular Membership” that

     provides a tournament forum to bring us together to enjoy the fellowship

     and competition. We also have monthly member meetings where we invite

     guest speakers to provide the attendees with the latest fishing techniques.

     WCCA also provides an avenue for individual persons and/or

     organizations to partner in the ministry through its

     “Associate Membership.”  This allows anyone to contribute to

     the ministry and support the work we do.

        West Coast Christian Anglers is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization.

Dues & Donations

     Regular Membership dues are $80.00 per year. Quarterly installments of

     $20.00 are  accepted. The minimum dues for Associate Membership

     is $20.00 per year. Individuals and organizations are welcome to contribute

     more (if that’s what God puts on your heart).

     Prayerful support is extremely encouraged and appreciated.
