Do You Know?
Do you know that God has has a plan for your life? No matter where you are, where you've been, He has a plan for you.
Jesus said;
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10 (NIV)
God wants to give you a full life! Who or what can give you that! Only God can.
Why?
Because God loves you so much He sent His only Son down to earth, to take our place and give His life for ours. Is there anyone else able, and willing to do that for you and all of mankind as God did?
Jesus said;
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NIV)
Because Our Sin
God has provided the only way for man to be saved. The Bible says we are all sinners.
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23 (NIV)
Death Is What We Deserve
"For the wages of sin is death," Romans 6:23 (NIV)
Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, and repent of your sin.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (NIV)
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (NIV)
Jesus Christ wants to have a relationship with you. What He has, you cannot earn or buy, its a free gift that last for eternity. Receive Jesus Christ into your life and know the freedom and hope that only comes from Him. You might say: I am a good person I don't need salvation! Or, I have things I still want to do, I can't give up my plans. This won't save you!
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
We all have a choice to make. If your life was to end right now where would you spend eternity? Jesus is coming back soon and you will stand before Him sooner or later and give an account of you life, will you be ready?
Knock! Knock!
Jesus is knocking at your heart, He probably has for such a long time, but you ignore Him. Don't go another year, month, day, hour, or minute this way.
Jesus says;
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20 (NIV)
Invite Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and Savior. Its not a complex thing to do. Just say a simple prayer and mean it in your heart. You can pray this prayer, or basically say the same thing in you own words .
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died on the cross for my sins. I ask you to forgive me, come into my heart and life. I open the door to you, I confess you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me, and make me into the person you want me to be. Amen.
